A SAFE SPACE FOR HEALING & GROWTH
Rooted in Kindness. Grounded in Healing.
MY COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Kindroot Wellness & Therapy, I provide a compassionate, grounded, and supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe healing begins with connection, kindness, and honoring each person’s unique story and experiences.
Instead of trying to push through or simply “fix” what feels wrong, this approach focuses on understanding what’s happening beneath the surface. Many of the patterns that feel stuck — whether anxiety, shame, grief, or overwhelm — are often connected to parts of you that have learned to protect, adapt, or carry more than they were meant to.
Therapy becomes a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and work with those parts in a way that feels compassionate, clear, and grounded. Because no two journeys are the same, therapy is tailored to your individual needs, experiences, and pace.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, burnout, or personal growth, you do not have to walk through it alone. Together, we’ll create space for healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change.
COLIN WATERS,
LICENSED CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Colin.
As a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I believe healing happens through connection — with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that every part of us carries wisdom and worth.
I am Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trained in EMDR, approaches that help clients heal from trauma, anxiety, shame, depression, addiction, and attachment wounds. My work is also informed by the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), a brain-based framework that supports nervous system regulation and resilience.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, integrating expressive approaches such as play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray therapy to support healing in ways that go beyond words alone.
Since entering the mental health field in 2011, I have worked in outpatient therapy, community mental health, and clinical supervision settings. I strive to offer a grounded, supportive space where your story is honored with care and lasting healing can take root.
